Dedication to My Dear Friend Justin Keeney: A Fallen Angel

(His dear soul departed from us on February 4, 2014 The morning of the hugest snowstorm by far for the Midwest)

"And there he went
Back to dust,
Another Romeo,
To bear his cross.
The most precious of souls
To take his own life...
I sit here and ask myself,
Where do we draw the line?
How long will we continue
To live a lie?
All of those beautiful young souls,
That we suppress their lives,
Make them struggle so much,
Until their dreams altogether die?
Older generations I ask of you... but why?
How long shall my eyes weep,
A heart heavy with sorrow...
Oh, Lord strengthen me, please,
The wounds are so deep."
-Love - Wise Owl Lady

*Trying to stay strong,
Never let go of thy fallen brother's hand,
How do we instill hope into a loveless,
wicked, unbelieving, and self-destructive generation?
How do we handle the pain?
Let our own children know
that we live in a world,
Where mankind gives each other very little room to grow.
We see the signs of God's power and marvel,
As if we see no warning,
As if it's an inconvenience,
As if we really know anything of life at all,
Which we clearly do not, with the direction the world is headed in.
But to know Thy Father, to know Love, To eliminate all the
make-believe and cease our wicked ways.
How will we ever truly until the End,
As a whole, become His people?
What will it take?

I CORINTHIANS CHAPTER XI

BE ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.
2 Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember
me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I
delivered them unto you.
3 But I would have you know, that the head of
every man is Christ; and the head of the woman
is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
4 Every man praying or prophesying, have his
head covered, dishonoureth his head.
5 But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth
with her head uncovered, dishonoureth her head:
for that is even all one as if she were shaven.
6 For if the woman be not covered, let her also
be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or
shaven, let her be covered.
7 For a man indeed ought not to cover his head,
forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but
the woman is the glory of the man.
8 For the man is not of the woman, but the woman of the man.
9 Neither was the man created for the woman,
But the woman for the man.
10 For this cause ought the woman to have power on
her head, because of the angels.
11 Nevertheless, neither is the man without the woman, neither
the woman without the man, in the Lord.
12 For as the woman is of the man, even so is the
man also by the woman; but all things of God.
13 Judge in yourselves: Is it comely that a woman
pray unto God uncovered?
14 Doth not even nature itself teach you, that if
a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?
15 But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory
to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.
16 But if any man seem to be contentious, we
have no such custom, neither the churches of God.
17 Now in this that I declare unto you, I praise
you not, that ye come together not for the better,
but for the worse.
18 For first of all, when ye come together in the church, I hear that there be division among you;
and I partly believe it.
19 For there must be also heresies among you,
that they which are approved may be made manifest
among you.
20 When ye come together therefore into one place,
this is not to eat the Lord's supper.
21 For in eating every one taketh before other his own
supper: and one is hungry, and another is drunken.
22 What! have ye not houses to eat and to drink in?
or despise ye the church of God, and shame
them that have not? What shall I say to you?
shall I praise you in this? I praise you not.
23 For I have received of the Lord, that which
also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus, the
same night in which he was betrayed, took bread:
24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it
and said, Take eat: this is my body, which is broken
for you: this do in remembrance of me.
25 After the same manner also he took the cup,
when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new
testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye
drink it, in remembrance of me.
26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink
this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.
27 Wherefore, whosoever shall eat this bread,
and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be
guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.
28 But let a man examine himself, and so let
him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.
29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily
eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not
discerning the Lord's body.
30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you,
and many sleep.
31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should
not be judged.
32 But when we are judged, we are chastened
of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with
the world.
33 Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to
eat, tarry one for another.
34 And if any man hunger, let him eat at home:
that ye come not together unto condemnation. And
the rest will I set in order when I come.

Spring Rebirth 3-20-2014

Here comes the great tidings of Spring,
Where Cherry Blossoms bloom and Red Robins sing,
Oh rejoice, for the resurrection of our Lord is here,
He that grants new life,
How great is the feeling of rebirth.
Blue skies and sunshine encourage me to come forth,
Let my spirit free,
All pain, fears, my sins put behind me,
For this is the season of repentance,
No man shall bind me,
No enemy shall bring me down,
For through him I have found the wisdom, the truth, love.
Yes, here comes the Spring.
Where Cherry Blossoms bloom and Red Robins sing.

Please Take Care of the Paradise Our Father has Given Unto Us!

Take care of of our Paradise! Do not wait any longer!
How self-destructive must we be?
Yet, continue to raise our babies
In a world that we destroy little by little each day.
Ignorance. Do we think that they will have it easy?
How hard is it to recycle? To not be wasteful? To teach our children the right ways of Thy Father?
How hard is it to love our animals, give them freedom, eat the proper foods, kill in the humane way?
How hard is it to take care of our crop, support our locality, take care of our streams, rivers, water supply?
How hard is it to stop the reckless, pointless building? Repair, tear down, rebuild what is already ruined?
How hard is it to give our animals freedom to roam the earth rather than make them pedestals to look upon, joy kill, experiments, captives,
We have already imprisoned ourselves...
We must plant our trees, stop the pollution, help each other survive...
These times are the worst,
And it gradually continues...
We must stop chasing artificiality...manmade materialism...
Oh how I pray that thy kingdom comes soon,
For life upon earth was not meant to be this way.
I pray for our youth, that have to grow up and try to survive in these times,
Mother Earth must look upon her kindred in shame,
No surprise comes to me when she unleashes her fury.
One Love. One Paradise. One People. Under Thy Father.
Seek Salvation.

Wisdom of Solomon Chapter XI

his excerpt is taken from The Apocrapha An American Translation by: Edgar J. Goodspeed. Vintage Books (A Division of Random House) New York. C. 1959. 1938.

1 She made their doings prosper by means of a holy prophet.
2 They traveled through an uninhabited desert,
And pitched their tents in trackless places.
3 They withstood their enemies and repulsed their foes.
4 They grew thirsty and called upon you,
And water was given them out of a rocky cliff,
And a cure for their thirst out of the hard stone.
5 For the means by which their enemies were punished
Benefited them in their time of need.
6 Instead of the fountain of an ever flowing river,
Stirred up with filthy blood,
7 As a rebuke for the decree to kill the babes,
You gave them plenty of water, in a way unlooked for,
8 Showing through their thirst at that time
How you punished their adversaries.
9 For when they were tried, although they were only disciplined
in mercy,
They learned how the ungodly were tormented, when they
were judged in wrath.
10 For these you tested like a father, warning them,
But those you examined like a stern king, condemning
them.
11 Whether absent or present, they were harassed alike;
12 For a double grief seized them,
And groaning over the memory of the past.
13 For when they heard that through their punishments
The others were benefited, they felt it was the Lord.
14 For the man who had long before been cast forth and exposed,
and whom they had rejected with scorn,
As events resulted, they admired,
When they felt thirst in a different way from the upright.
15 But the foolish fancies of their unrighteousness,
Misled by which they worshiped unreasoning reptiles
and worthless vermin,
You sent a multitude of unreasoning creatures upon them
to punish them,
16 So that they should know that a man is punished by the
things through which he sins.
17 For your all-powerful hand, which created the world out
of formless matter,
Did not lack means to send upon them a multitude of
bears, or bold lions,
18 Or newly created wild animals, unknown before, and full of
rage,
Either puffing out a fiery breath,
Or scattering a roar of smoke,
Or flashing dreadful sparks from their eyes,
19 Which could not only have destroyed them utterly by the harm
they did,
But have made them die of fright at the very sight of them.
20 Why, without these, they might have been felled by a
single breath,
Being pursued by justice,
And scattered by the breath of your power.
But you ordered everything by measure and number and
weight.
21 For it is always yours to have great strength,
And who can withstand the might of your arm?
22 For in your sight the whole world is like what turns the
scale in a balance,
And like drop of dew that comes down on the earth in the
morning.
23 But you have mercy on all men, because you can do all
things,
And you overlook men's sins to lead them to repent,
24 For you love all things that exist,
And abhor none of the things that you have made;
For you would never have formed anything if you hated it.
25 And how could anything have endured, if you had not
willed it,
Or what had not been called forth by you have been
preserved?
26 But you spare all, because they are yours, Lord, lover of life...

My Dedication to Karleen Koen

I am writing today because over the past couple of years, two particular books, of the many books that I have read (being the nonstop reader that I am) had an enormous impact on my life. I truly am a devoted admirer of Karleen Koen and her novel Through a Glass Darkly followed by its sequel Now Face to Face. The Story of Barbara/Lady Devane and her journey through life and her struggles, pain, heartbreak, wisdom, strength, and dignity as a character as well has the overall story, plot, cast of characters, and everlasting imprint the novel has, taking the reader back to the 1700's, upon the old European World and New World/Colonial Development of North America. I have decided to share my favorite quotes, many which are from the Holy Word,  from the sequel that I recently, sad to say, finished. This book can definitely strengthen any woman and give her the spirit to overcome and endure all of her battles in life. I will treasure these two books forever.

Quotes from Now Face To Face
By: Karleen Koen

"Keep Thy Heart with all diligence for out of it are the issues of life."

"Never runaway from the truth, because it sits upon your shoulder. When you least expect it to, it will put its ugly face into yours and say, Boo." -Duchess of Tamworth

"Nicotiana- Latin-tobacco: Sacred to natives. When you smoke a pipe of tobacco with an Indian you do so not for enjoyment, but rather to sanctify a pact or treaty or deed... (also use for prayers and blessings)... good things, not prodigal like Europeans." -Major Custis

"The Moon has set, and the Pleiades; it is midnight, and time passes, and I sleep alone.' I quote from Sappho." -Philippe - French Prince de Soissons

"Watch and Pray. Time passeth away like a shadow carved on a gravestone."

"Everything changes, and nothing does."

"I will know it, and I will love it." - Blackstone (of his freedom from his indenture)

"Those of us given the gifts of charm and beauty, Bab, said her grandmother, ...'those of us given them use them kindly, discreetly, with honesty, for otherwise the hurt to others is too great. And one day the hurt will turn around and bite."

The Art of Seduction: Once they trust you, hurt them. (of men) They struggle to escape but can't. The hurt paralyzes them, makes you puppetmaster, them the puppet. - Richelieu

"There is a greater purpose to all than we know, Colonel Perry said, 'Believe that and life becomes, even in despair, a thing of adventure."

"May we sit just a moment? The snow feels like kisses on my face." -Babs (Barbara on Christmas Day)

"Make the bones which thou has broken rejoice."

"I want to live a life of truth and not lies." -Barbara

"He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord he is my refuge and my fortress: my God; In him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fouler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler."

"Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways." The Sun was up a New Day had begun. (Psalm of David)

"When you loved hard, you lost hard. Losses are there, like the sweetest of shadows, in the shape of your mouth." -Viscount Duncannon.

"There was nothing half way in such a woman's love." -Laurence Slane/Duncannon of his mother, wife, Aunt Shrew

"The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in paths of righteousness for his names sake. Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies..."

"We must never interfere in another's hopes." -Colonel Perry

"The dead are in the child who is wailing, in the firebrand that flames, in the fire that is dying. The dead are not dead." -The Slave Song

"Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice."

"Loss made a body afraid to love again, but in the end there was nothing else but love..."

"The dead are not dead...They are in the fire that is dying, in the grasses that weep... in the whimpering rocks...the dead are not dead... Listen. Listen. Listen.

"When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child. I thought like a child, but when I became a man, I set aside childish ways. For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known."

Never Underestimate the Power of Love -Wise Owl Lady

Wisdom of Solomon Chapter X

This excerpt is taken from The Apocrapha An American Translation by: Edgar J. Goodspeed. Vintage Books (A Division of Random House) New York. C. 1959. 1938.

1 It was she that protected the first-formed father of the world,
In his loneliness, after his creation,
And rescued him from his transgression,
2 And gave him strength to master all things.
3 And when an unrighteous man abandoned her in his anger,
He perished in his fratricidal rage.
4 When the earth was deluged because of him, wisdom again
saved
The upright man, steering him with a cheap piece of wood.
5 It was she that when the nations were confused, in their
wicked conspiracy,
Recognized the upright man, and preserved him blameless before God,
And kept him steadfast against having pity on his child.
6 When the ungodly were perishing, she saved an upright
man,
Who fled from the fire that descended on the Five Towns;
7 To their wickedness a smoking waste
Still bears lasting witness,
As do trees that bear fruit that never ripens,
And a pillar of salt that stands as a memorial of an unbelieving
soul.
8 For because they passed wisdom by,
They were not only made incapable of recognizing what was good,
But also left behind them to life a memorial of their folly,
So that their faults could not pass unnoticed.
9 But wisdom delivered those who served her from their
troubles.
10 An upright man, who was a fugitive from a brother's
wrath,
She guided in straight paths;
She showed him God's kingdom,
And gave him knowledge of holy things;
She made him prosper in his toils
And increased the fruit of his labors;
11 When those who oppressed him were covetous, she stood
by him,
And made him rich.
12 She protected him from his enemies,
And kept him safe from those who lay in wait for him,
And decided his hard contest in his favor,
So that he should know that godliness is stronger than anything.
13 When an upright man was sold, she did not abandon him,
But delivered him from sin;
She went down into the pit with him,
14 And she did not leave him in prison,
Until she brought him the scepter of a kingdom,
And power over those who lorded it over him;
She showed that they were false who had blamed him,
And she gave him everlasting honor.
15 She delivered from a nation of oppressors
A holy people and a blameless race;
16 She entered the soul of a servant of the Lord,
And withstood awe-inspiring kings with portents and signs;
17 She paid to holy men a reward for their toils,
She guided them along a wonderful way,
And became a shelter for them in the daytime,
And a flame of stars at night.
18 She brought them over the Red Sea,
And led them through deep waters.
19 But their enemies she overwhelmed,
And cast them up from the bottom of the deep.
20 Therefore the upright despoiled the ungodly,
And they sang, Lord, of your holy name,
And praised with one accord your defending hand.
21 For wisdom opens the mouth of the dumb,
And makes the tongues of babes speak plainly.

The Wisdom of Solomon Chapter IX

This excerpt is taken from The Apocrapha An American Translation by: Edgar J. Goodspeed. Vintage Books (A Division of Random House) New York. C. 1959. 1938.

1 "God of my forefathers and merciful Lord,
Who created all things by your word,
2 And by your wisdom formed man
To rule over the creatures you had made,
3 And manage the world in holiness and uprightness,
And pass judgment in rectitude of soul,
4 Give me the wisdom that sits by your throne,
And do not reject me as unfit to be one of your servants.
5 For I am your slave and the son of your maidservant,
A man weak and short-lived,
And inferior in my understanding and judgment;
6 For even if one among the sons of men is perfect,
If the wisdom that comes from you is lacking, he will count
for nothing.
7 You have chosen me out to be king of your people,
And to be judge of your sons and daughters;
8 You told me to build a sanctuary on your holy mountain,
And an altar in the city where you dwell,
A copy of the holy tent which you prepared in the beginning;
9 And with you is wisdom, which knows your works,
And was present when you made the world,
And understands what is pleasing in your sight,
And what is in accord with your commands.
10 Send her forth from the holy heavens
And dispatch her from your glorious throne,
To be with me and toil,
And so that I may know what is pleasing to you.
11 For she knows and understands all things,
And she will guide me with good sense in my actions,
And will guard me with her splendor.
12 Then my doings will be acceptable,
And I will judge your people uprightly,
And be worthy of the throne of my father.
13 For what man can know the counsel of God,
Or who can decide what the Lord wills?
14 For the calculations of mortals are timid,
And our designs are likely to fail,
15 For a perishable body weighs down the soul,
And its earthy tent burdens the thoughtful mind.
16 We can hardly guess at things upon the earth,
And we have hard work finding the things that are just at
hand,
But who has tracked out the things of heaven?
17 And who has learned your counsel unless you gave him
wisdom,
And sent your holy spirit from on high?
18 So the paths of those who were on the earth were straightened,
And men were taught the things that please you,
And were saved by wisdom."

The Confession 3/13/2014

Yeah, it took me to endure a few wounds,
But I had to wake up, the path of my life I had to choose,
Yes, it is also true,
My personal relationships were not exactly with the right dudes,
What my heart fell for,
Were the souls of embittered men, without hearts, full of malice,
Hiding behind money, heartbreaking, tragedic heroes, each of them holding a chalice.
I guess I had to hit rock bottom,
Before I finally had it.
This strong young woman, once upon a time wasn't so strong,
This brave woman, once was scared out of her mind,
This enlightened young woman, once was trapped in the dark by her demons,
This Wise young woman, once upon questioned and doubted,
Now I have found Thy Father,
I work to build my relationship with him,
Until it is perfected
There is no way that I can be led to the right companion that He has
already perfected for me.
My life has been what is has been,
But it has turned into one of bliss,
I am loving every second of it,
Because when you live right, live good, love all,
Fear nothing, possess no darkness or negativity at heart or within thy soul,
You are Powerful,
When you know that true riches come from knowing Thy Lord and His Law and His Kingdom that is to come,
You are Truly Wealthy,
When you are quick to forgive, consistent in charity, devoted to one and all,
Follow your dreams, Lead others, and Know Sacrifice and True Suffering of the Broken Heart,
You know Love
When you Believe in the Unknown, Know your Boundaries as Man, Soar in Spirit, Care for the Earth, and Trust in Him,
You have found Thy Father.
Every breathe I take, everyday I wake,
Every day I pray, Every day I give thanks,
I do not dwell in the past,
For even when I stumble,
God has granted me life A New,
Therefore, I Shall Not Test Him,
But live my Life in The Best Way Every Day in Every Way.

I CORINTHIANS CHAPTER X.

MOREOVER, brethren, I would not that ye
should be ignorant how that all our fathers
were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;
2 And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud
and in the sea;
3 And did all eat the same spiritual meat;
4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink
(For they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed
them: and that Rock was Christ.)
5 But with many of them God was not well
pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.
6 Now these things were our examples, to the
intent we should not lust after evil things, as they
also lusted.
7 Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them;
as it is written, The people sat down to eat and
drink, and rose up to play.
8 Neither let us commit fornication, as some of
them committed, and fell in one day three and
twenty thousand.
9 Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them
also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.
10 Neither murmur ye, as some of them also
murmured, and were destroyed by the destroyer.
11 Now all these things happened unto them for
ensamples: and they are written for our admonition,
upon whom the ends of the world are come.
12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth,
take heed lest he fall.
13 There hath no temptation taken you but such
as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will
not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able;
but will with the temptation also make a way to
escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
14 Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.
15 I speak as to wise men; judge ye what I say.
16 The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the
communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which
we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?
17 For we being many are one bread, and one body;
for we are all partakers of that one bread.
18 Behold Israel after the flesh: are not they
which eat of the sacrifices, partakers of the altar?
19 What say I then? that the idol is any thing,
or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any
thing?
20 But I say, that the things which the Gentiles
sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God:
and I would not that ye should have fellowship with
devils.
21 Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the
cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's
table, and of the table of devils.
22 Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we
stronger than he?
23 All things are lawful for me, but all things are
not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all
things edify not.
24 Let no man seek his own, but every man
another's wealth.
25 Whatsoever is sold in the shambles, that eat,
asking no question for conscience sake:
26 For the earth is the Lord's, and the fulness
thereof.
27 If any of them that believe not bid you to a
feast, and ye be disposed to go; whatsoever is set
before you, eat, asking no question for conscience
sake.
28 But if any man say unto you, This is offered in
sacrifice unto idols, eat not for his sake that shewed
it, and for conscience sake: for the earth is the Lord's,
and the fulness thereof.
29 Conscience, I say, not thin own, but of the
other: for why is my liberty judged of another
man's conscience?
30 For if I by grace be a partaker, why am I
evil spoken of for that for which I give thanks?
31 Whether therefore ye eat or drink, or whatsoever
ye do, do all to the glory of God:
32 Give none offence, neither to the Jews, no to
the Gentiles, nor to the church of God.
33 Even as I please all men in all things, not
seeking mine own profit, but the profit of many, that
they may be saved.

Rejoice!

Oh how good the Lord is!
He is All Mighty, All Powerful, and All Knowing,
He tames my weary heart,
And guides me through stormy waters;
How forever indebted to Him I am,
For he has given me new life,
And saved me from the darkness...
All I had to do was seek him.
He brings tears of happiness and joy to my eyes,
He has forgiven me a thousand times over,
Shown me mercy in my foolishness,
And carried me when I myself was crippled;
He gave me eyes to see and ears to hear,
And heart full of compassion and love,
To share with others,
To lead his Children.
Yes, I rejoice,
Everyday,
For The Lord has been Good to me,
As Undeserving as I feel,
He has given me his armor and sword,
I feel invincible with him by my side,
So Yes, I rejoice,
For I have been given new Life!
Amen.

Wisdom of Solomon Chap. VIII.

This excerpt is taken from The Apocrapha An American Translation by: Edgar J. Goodspeed. Vintage Books (A Division of Random House) New York. C. 1959. 1938.

For she reaches in strength from one end of the earth to the
other,
And conducts everything well.
2 I loved her and sought after her from my youth up,
And I undertook to make her my bride,
And I fell in love with her beauty.
3 She glorifies her high birth in living with God,
For the Lord of all loves her.
4 For she is initiated into the knowledge of God,
And is a searcher of his works.
5 But if the possession of wealth is to be desired in life,
What is richer than wisdom, which operates everything?
6 And if understanding works,
Who in all the world is a greater craftsman than she?
7 And if a man loves uprightness,
Her labors are virtues;
For she teaches self-control and understanding,
Uprightness and courage;
Nothing in life is more useful to men than these.
8 But if a man longs for much experience,
She knows antiquity and can forecast the future,
She understands the tricks of language and the solving of
riddles;
She knows the meaning of signs and portents,
And the outcomes of seasons and periods.
9 So I decided to bring her to live with me,
Knowing that she would give me good counsel,
And encouragement in cares and grief.
10 Because of her I will have glory among the multitude,
And honor with the elders, though I am young,
11 I will be found keen in judgment,
and I will be admired in the presence of monarchs.
12 When I am silent, they will wait for me to speak,
And when I speak, they will pay attention,
And if I talk some length,
They will put their hands over their mouths.
13 Because of her, I will have immortality,
And leave an everlasting memory to those who come after me.
14 I will govern peoples, and nations will be subject to me.
15 Dread sovereigns will be frightened when they hear of me;
Among the people I will appear good and in war brave.
16 When I enter my house, I will find rest in her,
For intercourse with her has no bitterness,
And living with her no grief,
But gladness and joy.
17 When I considered these things with myself,
And reflected in my mind
That in kinship with wisdom there is immortality,
18 And in her friendship there is pure delight,
And unfailing wealth in the labors of her hands,
And understanding in the experience of her company,
And glory in sharing in her words,
I went about seeking how to win her for myself.
19 I was a well-formed child,
And a good soul fell to me,
20 Or rather, I was good and entered an undefiled body.
21 But I perceived that I could not win her unless God gave
her to me
(And this too came of understanding, to know from whom
the favor came.)
I appealed to the Lord and besought him,
And said with all my heart:

Wisdom of Solomon VII

I too am a mortal man, like all men,
And a descendant of that first-formed man, who sprang
form the earth;
2 And I was shaped into flesh in my mother's womb,
Solidified in blood in ten months
From man's seed and the pleasure of marriage.
3 And when I was born I breathed in the common air,
And fell on the kindred earth,
Giving the same first cry as all the rest.
4 I was carefully wrapped up and nursed,
5 For no king has any other beginning of existence;
6 But all men have one entrance upon life, and the same way
of leaving it.
7 Therefore I prayed, and understanding was given me;
I called, and the spirit of wisdom came to me.
8 I preferred her to scepters and thrones,
And I thought wealth of no account compared with her.
9 I did not think a priceless stone her equal,
For all the gold, in her presence, is just a little sand,
And silver is no better than mud, before her.
10 I loved her more than health and good looks,
And I preferred her even to light,
And her radiance is unceasing.
11 But all blessings came to me along with her,
And uncounted wealth is in her hands.
12 And I rejoiced over them all, because wisdom ruled them,
For I did not know that she was their mother.
13 I learned honestly, and I share ungrudgingly,
I will not hide her wealth away,
14 For it is an unfailing treasure for men,
And those who get it make friends with God,
Being commended to him by the gifts that come from her
discipline.
15 May God grant to me to speak properly,
And to have thoughts worthy of what he has given;
For it is he that guides wisdom
And directs the wise.
16 For in his hands are we and our words,
All understanding and knowledge of trades.
17 For it is he that has given me unerring knowledge of what
is,
To know the constitution of the world and the working of
the elements;
18 The beginning and end and middle of periods of time,
The alternations of the solstices and the changes of the seasons,
19 The cycles of the years and the positions of the stars,
20 The natures of animals, and the dispositions of wild beasts,
The powers of spirits and the designs of men,
The varieties of plants and the virtues of roots;
21 All that was secret or manifest I learned,
22 For wisdom, the fashioner of all things, taught me.
For there is in her a spirit that is intelligent, holy,
Unique, manifold, subtle,
Mobile, clear, undefiled,
Distinct, beyond harm, loving the good, keen,
23 Unhindered, beneficent, philanthropic,
Firm, sure, free from care,
All-powerful, all-seeing,
And interpenetrating all spirits
That are intelligent, pure, and most subtle.
24 For wisdom is more mobile than any motion,
And she penetrates and permeates everything, because she
is so pure;
25 For she is the breath of the power of God,
And a pure emanation of his almighty glory;
Therefore nothing defiled can enter into her.
26 For she is a reflection of the everlasting light,
And a spotless mirror of the activity of God,
And a likeness of his goodness.
27 Though she is one, she can do all things,
And while remaining in herself, she makes everything new.
And passing into holy souls, generation after generation,
She makes them friends of God, and prophets.
28 For God loves nothing but the man who lives with wisdom.
29 For she is fairer than the sun,
Or any group of stars;
Compared with light, she is found superior;
30 For night succeeds to it,
But evil cannot overpower wisdom.

Love the Little Things In Life, For they are Much Bigger than You Think -Wise Owl Lady

Dear Father 3-4-2014

There's a pain in my heart,
A voidness in my mind...
Of which sorrow tries to fill...
Just the smallest amount of light,
Can tame a damsel's pride.
I do my best not to cry,
Yet nothing ever seems right.
All my wishes and dreams,
Strengthen my beliefs.
Yet as alone in the world that I often feel,
I know that you watch over me...
I see your face in the clouds,
Sometimes lost, sometimes found...
Praying constantly,
When there seems like no way out;
How great is the gift of Your Wisdom,
Yet young, I feel gray,
I continue to hope,
Hope for salvation each and everyday,
Trying to figure things out,
Things deep within I already know;
You have brought me here,
This time, place, and generation,
Lest I should know you...
For that I give my life unto you Lord...
I may stand here today and die tomorrow.
Cover me with your blanket and wake me,
When Thy Kingdom Comes,
For I know Thy Will Be Done.
Amen

Wisdom of Solomon Chap. VI.

This excerpt is taken from The Apocrapha An American Translation by: Edgar J. Goodspeed. Vintage Books (A Division of Random House) New York. C. 1959. 1938.

1 Listen therefore, kings, and understand:
Learn this, judges of the ends of the earth;
2 Pay attention, rulers of people,
Who boast of multitudes of nations;
3 For your dominion was given you from the Lord,
And your sovereignty from the Most High.
He will examine your works and inquire into your plans;
4 For though you are servants of his kingdom, you have not
judged rightly,
Or kept the Law,
Or followed the will of God.
5 He will come upon you terribly and swiftly,
For a stern judgment overtakes those in high places.
6 For the humblest man may be forgiven through mercy,
But the mighty will be mightily tested,
7 For the Lord of all will show no partiality,
And will not respect greatness,
For it was he who made small and great,
And he takes thought for all alike,
8 But a rigorous inquiry is in store for the powerful.
9 My words are addressed to you, therefore, you monarchs,
So that you may learn wisdom and not go astray;
10 For those who observe holy things in holiness will be made
holy,
And those who are taught them will have a defense to offer;
So desire my words,
Long for them, and you will be instructed.
12 Wisdom is bright and unfading,
And she is easily seen by those who lover her,
And found by those who search for her.
13 She forestalls those who desire her, by making herself
known first.
14 The man who rises early to seek her will not have to toil,
For he will find her sitting at his gates.
15 For to think of her is the highest understanding,
And the man who is vigilant for her sake will soon be free
from care.
16 For she goes about in search of those who are worthy of her,
And she graciously appears to them in their paths,
And meets them in every thought.
17 For the truest beginning of her is the desire for instruction,
And concern for instruction is love of her,
18 And love for her is the observance of her laws,
And adherence to her laws is assurance of immortality,
19 And immortality brings men near to God;
20 So the desire for wisdom leads to a kingdom.
21 If therefore you take pleasure in thrones and scepters,
monarchs of the people,
Honor wisdom, so that you may reign forever.
22 But what wisdom is and how she came to be, I will declare,
And I will not hide these secrets from you,
But I will trace her out from the beginning of creation,
And make the knowledge of her clear,
And I will not pass by the truth;
23 I will not travel with futile envy,
For it cannot associate with wisdom.
24 The multitude of the the wise is the salvation of the world,
And a prudent king is the stability of his people.
25 So be instructed by my words and you will be benefited.
