'Strength': By Wise Owl Lady
Sun shines upon thy face,
I bow my head, confess my disgrace,
Allow myself to smile and give my daily thanks,
I am stronger now, more than I have ever been;
How great is His gift of Wisdom.
Like a warm cloak,
It protects me,
Keeps those storms and icy winds at bay,
My skin crawls with excitement.
I close my eyes and pray,
Yes, I am ready for today.
No more tears fall down upon thy face,
No more fears, they've faded away;
No more anger within my heart,
No more foolishness on my part;
I have proudly retrieved, from you, my heart,
Like a warrioress returned from battle, I was the victor from the start;
Time heals the wounded soul,
But the Lord knows that I needed these wounds
in order for me to grow;
He found me in isolation, wandering, lost and alone...
All I wanted was to spread my wings, soar through the wilderness,
knowing that this world is not my true home;
In my soul's possession,
do I have much wisdom to share, behold,
My purpose in this life must take place,
Our destinies have been foretold;
The constant everyday battle against
these evil, wicked ways...
They mock my pain, our pain, our children's pain...
Disrespect our forefather's name,
Treat life like a game,
Materialistic prizes, as if they've never seen the rainbow after the rain;
It really is a shame;
I will continue to labor hard,
sow my seeds day by day,
Keep my faith and trust
in the will of Thy Father;
Keep thy heart for His coming day;
Love His people,
and not follow wrongful ways;
Let go of the demons
that lurk there behind me,
trying to break my strength;
How lonely and sacrificing,
can the path of the righteous woman be,
But to be among the select few to inherit
the Kingdom of Heaven,
I will consistently repent my sins,
Renew myself everyday,
Keep my spirit and body clean,
Live, through Him, my dreams,
Never doubt, just believe;
We think what we see, we know,
Yet even what we see, we do not comprehend;
What has been lovingly given to us, abused;
Broken the Law, His commandments abandoned,
Clearly in these times,
More than ever before in history of mankind,
Our we sisters and brothers torn apart...
Yes, my heart will go on, it must,
From the light of the Moon,
This Wise Owl Lady journeys along.
