Daily Poetry Inspiration: 'A Mess of A Mess'

Sometimes I find myself in a state of distress,
It's hard to sometimes understand this mess of a mess,
I find myself sometimes counting down the days,
Trying to maintain patience and I continue to pray,
Know I'd much rather be glorified this way, 
Then living a lie and listening to what they say,
Know that through my courage and perseverance I inspire others,
Wouldn't trade now this life for another,
My suffering is my virtue, my heart is my weapon,
I still manage to pick myself up lesson after lesson,
I receive gratefully His blessings,
Finding acceptance that I cannot change and save the world, 
But I can leave my imprint and save a child,
They'll never see me bluff, they'll never see me quit,
Day after day, journeying forward in this life of sin,
Perhaps the pessimism has made me an optimist,
Knowing that it will get worse than this,
Drives me to venture on forward for the next generation, 
That'll have to learn how to deal with this,
Yes, sometimes I find myself in a state of distress,
And yes, it's hard to sometimes understand this mess of a mess,
But I remember His promise and I'll never forget,
No matter how hard it get's I know that I can handle this. Amen.
