Faith

Sometimes even I have to remind myself to slow down,
To take a moment to clear my mind and re-energize my soul.
To remember what really matters in this world,
Love, charity, selflessness, sacrifice, and faith in Thy Father,
Sometimes my heart gets heavy with sorrow,
And I keep worrying about tomorrow,
I stress myself out over what I cannot change,
If it's not one thing, it's the other, and I find that it is myself that I always blame,
Anticipating a change,
Seeking the impossible,
Knowing that the time is coming,
For His will to take place,
So today I decided to take a walk,
Feel the wind caress my face,
I decided to pray,
To take full charge of my day,
With utter thankfulness in His grace,
Listen to Beethoven play,
Think about the better days,
Realized that sometimes life doesn't go my way,
And that's okay,
The storms must come in life,
To clear the way for the blessings of the future,
For what is the rainbow without the rain?
The illness without the healer?
The dream without the dreamer?
The soul without the faith?
Never underestimate his greatness,
Because just when I thought I would go mad,
His power surged right through me and took all anger and vengeance away from my heart.
So let go of fear, hard times, and struggles, worries, and negative energy.
Think twice of hurtful words spoken and destructive thoughts towards your brothers and sisters,
At the end of the day, you only damage yourself, your heart, and you have not won, but very much have lost.
